Shannon Reed

Shannon Reed is a Sr. Associate Attorney at Immigration Law Group, LLP. She earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2012. She joined ILG in 2013 as a Legal Writer and was promoted to Associate Attorney in 2015, becoming the newest lawyer at the firm.

Shannon handles all aspects of business immigration law, including immigrant and nonimmigrant visas. She particularly enjoys collaborating with corporate and individual clients in various industries including science, technology, academia, business, journalism, and entertainment to prepare successful petitions for temporary and permanent U.S. employment. Shannon is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She currently serves as Chair (2023-2024) and previously served as Treasurer (2022-2023) of the Santa Clara Valley AILA Chapter.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, she enjoys traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her dog when she’s not working.
